i've had my share of being car doored (twice in the same week) and dodging drivers who insist on pushing me off the road and into a fence, but it's nice to see mayors doing something about making their cities more aware of bikers. rahm emanuel went ahead and starting installing protected bike lanes—which is pretty great—but not as impressive as lithuanian mayor arturas zuokas deciding to run over illegally parked cars with a tank. you've got my vote, sir.
