it's a big derby weekend! yesterday the manic attackers defeated the reigning champs the fury and took home the ivy king cup. great job to both teams, i haven't seen fans jump out of their seat in a while after a bout like that!



today our travel teams will be at brewhaha in milwaukee. good luck to both the second wind and wcr all-stars! catch the action on dnn.com. can we just take a minute to talk about the poster for this year? as much as i dig the style of the artwork, i wish we'd move on from using some leggy anime girl with skates as the "trademark" for derby. how is anyone going to take our athleticism seriously if we keep portraying ourselves like this? over it. but good artwork nonetheless.
