happy sunday, folks. i had absolutely nothing to do today and wasn't feeling particularly focused, so why not put on a comfy outfit to get a donut and coffee then spend the day organizing?



now that we are finally settled here in seattle after a month and a half, i finally got around to setting up my home office. our one bedroom is quite small, so it was difficult to carve out a work space that conor and i didn't have to share. while he works from a cozy corner in the living room, i figured out how to use the chaise behind the bed as my office nook.



i ended buying a shelf from ikea that matched the bedframe and installed it to the back of the headboard. all i had to do was add a lamp and organize the bookshelf to have all my office essentials within reach. ta-da. let the productivity begin!



to wrap up being organized, i made myself a new notepad to stay on top of the multiple jobs i have. 2014 is about being more focused and not multitask too much in one day. three days a week for design, two days a week for training and one day for research and crafting. not bad for a lazy sunday.
