our home decorating is expanding little by little. last week we added some things that are more boyfriend-friendly. i made a hobbit-inspired sign for the kitchen as LOTR is one of his favorite movie series. we have a 2013 hobbit calendar in the kitchen still, and even though no longer relevant, i don’t mind leaving it up on december because of legolas. dreamy, elfy, legolas.



the boyfriend also finally finished his lego tie fighter that i got him for christmas. his love of movies is quite grand, so i am glad our home can show it (other than the mountains of dvds on the shelf).



i had forgotten that i gave some of my bracelets to a friend who loves them, so i found time to remake some. i am started to dig more natural colors than my usual black and grey. it is nice to accessorize my wrists with something other than hair ties every once in a while.



friday’s lunch date was on the top of little si. it was cloudy that day, but we heard on the radio that it would be in the 60s above the cloud line, so we had to go enjoy it for ourselves. as the sun cut through on our way up, we couldn’t help but feel like we were in fork, wa where they filmed twilight. it was indeed a perfect day to play vampire baseball.



and did i mention stairs? 272 of them? 8 times? my calves are pretty pissed off about it. let’s see if i can make this a weekly thing.
